    Senior Facilities and Maintenance Manager | Moorebank

    Welcome to Moorebank

    Construction is now well underway for our new Moorebank RDC (MoRDC). Located in Moorebank NSW, this is the latest distribution centre being added to the Primary Connect Network. The 44,900 sqm facility - equivalent to almost three times the size of the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). This will strengthen Primary Connect's national supply chain and service more than 1,000 Woolworths Supermarkets across Australia with more than 12,000 product lines.

    • Provide operational leadership to support Distribution Centres and ensure Woolworths assets are maintained safely and cost-effectively, adhering to legal, regulatory, and lease requirements.
    • Lead & coach a diverse team of Team Leaders, and Contractors, driving change, continuous improvement, and innovation across facilities.
    • Manage all FM services, including service delivery against agreements, company assets, inventory, sustainability, and effective contractor management, while prioritising customer and team needs.
    • Day to day management of service providers engaged by Primary Connect & act as the escalation point for Primary Connect operational stakeholders - both internal and external
    • Leadership and administration of the relevant elements site safe systems of work (contractor management, authority to work, visitor management, inductions etc)
    • Cost and budget management related to the activities above
    • Ensure compliance with safety requirements and company policies, manage capital works, and handle critical incidents to minimise business impact.

    What you'll bring

    • Strong communication and influencing skills to effectively build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Experience in managing large scale facilities, materials handling equipment and/or automation distribution centres with a career background in facilities and maintenance
    • A Background in engineering or maintenance planning and execution is highly desirable
    • Planning, problem solving skills and ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
    • Strong business / finance analysis skills specifically in financial, variance and forecasting analysis
