- This position can be based residentially in Mildura VIC or Broken Hill NSW, with travel to: Eastern Operations mine sites, The Broken Hill Mineral Separation plant, Ginkgo Mine Site near Pooncarie NSW and Atlas Mine Site near Balranald NSW.
- The roster for this role will be dependent on the preferred location.

- Develop and manage medium-long term asset management plans for plant assets to achieve business objectives (Safe, Quality, Low Cost, Sustainable, Production)
- Prepare and effectively administer budgets for projects/programs and identify opportunities for reducing costs.
- Execute change management processes when required
- Supports Operations in project execution by completing maintainability analysis and operational readiness activities
- Project Management and execution of asset improvement and asset integrity projects (multi-discipline engineering) projects
- Complete life cycle costing analysis of plant assets to determine the optimum whole of life asset strategy
- Provide Technical support to Maintenance
- Write scopes for tender where change a change in maintenance strategy is involved
- Align CMMS and Inspection Records database, support planning processes
- Monitor quality of inspection and manage standards for compliance
- Ensure the optimal reliability of plant by effectively implementing asset management and maintenance improvement programs
- Define, review and approval of preventative maintenance program
- Hold a Mechanical Engineering qualification, or equivalent experience in asset management which covers preventative and life of asset management strategies.
- Proven track record leading strategic asset programs and projects
- Demonstrated ability for business improvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to contribute to organisational change
