    As our Physiotherapist you will provide exercise, mobility and movement services to our Residents, implementing, developing, and maintaining exercise physiology programs aligned to the Southern Cross Care ethos for personal and innovative client outcomes. Just as no two people are the same, neither are two days and your focus will be to keep our Residents engaged.

    Your role will include:

    • Delivering quality physiotherapy services tailored to the individual needs of our Residents using a person-centred approach treatments in line with best practice principles.
    • Attend to client referrals in a timely manner and ensure that follow-ups are completed for referrals as required.
    • Communicate with all appropriate parties including documentation of hours, rostering and timesheets.
    • Conduct ongoing, scheduled and regular reviews of residents' care, their goals, mobility, pain management and falls risk and safety interventions; and maintaining an up-to-date record of these client reviews.
    • Communicate openly and professionally with residents, referrers, care, and support staff at all levels, to ensure appropriate and achievable level of care for all residents.
    • Attending and participating in meetings, including multidisciplinary, staff and management meetings as directed by your manager.

    This role will be based in Tweed Heads.

    • Bachelor Of Physiotherapy
    • Min of 1 year clinical experience in Australia
    • Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
    • Current valid driver's license and own vehicle
    • NDIS Workers Screening & Orientation

    We will also consider applicants from appropriately qualified Exercise Physiologists

    Desirable

    • Comprehensive experience, knowledge and skills in the aged care setting
    • Familiarity with the AN-ACC tool and AACQA standards, and their application.

    As part of the on-boarding process you will be required to undertake a NDIS Check and Police Check.
