    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build and leverage formal and informal high-performing partnerships within the organisation
    • Provide a high level of planning support to business units and projects, driving a culture of excellence
    • Own and implement planning systems to support the effective execution of projects
    • Train project teams in the use of systems and associated tools, controls and techniques
    • Provide guidance in the development of tender schedules, project baseline schedules and project reports
    • Review project schedules during execution for mitigation of risk and maximising opportunity
    • Develop and retain skills and knowledge across the function through participation in recruitment, onboarding and training
    • Identify, plan and manage functional initiatives to support continuous improvement

    What you will bring:

    • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline, quantity surveying or equivalent
    • Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior planning role with relevant construction experience
    • Expert in the operation of Primavera P6
    • Large-scale construction project experience planning SMP/E&I programmes for construction contractor in Materials Handling, Process Plants, or Oil & Gas environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
    • You acquire a methodical approach, high attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work and meeting deadlines
    • Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
