    Reporting to the Program Manager – Fibre Stewardship and Food Contact the Compliance Auditor is tasked with assisting the Visy Group in compliance with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) International Standards, adherence to local and international illegal wood procurement legislation, as well as Quality Management System audits and compliance as required. This role would entail frequent travel to our sites nationally for audits.

    The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Conduct FSC, PEFC, and Quality audits of Visy sites, suppliers, and outsourced services.
  • Report on audit findings and ensure any identified conformance issues are monitored via action plans to completion.
  • Participate in relevant projects to support and improve Visy's compliance to all relevant international standards.
  • Report on the findings of internal audits, including non-conformances and trends, ensuring risk is measured, improved, and communicated to the business.
  • What you will bring to the team:

  • Previous experience in compliance auditing, preferably within the manufacturing or packaging industry.
  • Lead auditor qualification in Quality or Environmental management systems and audit experience (Internal & External)
  • Strong understanding maintaining and enhancing systems (ISO etc) and knowledge of applicable standards
  • Familiarity with FSC and PEFC Standards
  • Knowledge of relevant local and international standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
