    Description

    The Utilities business are the preferred contractor on two of the largest energy infrastructure projects within the Australian energy sector, one of these projects is in Queensland and the other in New South Wales.

    These two exciting opportunities secure a pipeline of work until 2027 and include the design & construction of new transmission lines and substations.

    About the role

    The Proposals Coordinator will be responsible for the content, design and support of all bids and internal communications for the Utilities team. They must ensure the completeness and cohesiveness of the tender response during the bidding phase and any clarifications that arise in the post bidding phase.

    The Proposals Coordinator will also be responsible for Submissions, development and ongoing content design for webinars, graphics, and design for all Utilities presentations

    You will

    Working closely with the Pre-Contracts Team and Bid Managers to aid with a key focus on the final submission document:

    Content Management – A key focus for this role is the content of each bid:

    · Ensuring the content provided answers the questions and is tailored to the market intelligence we have from the Pre-Contracts Managers and other areas of the business

    · Developing content, as required, and utilising previous bids to develop a benchmark and best practice for answering questions

    · Developing a response document, utilising the available UGL word template to collate the information

    · Analysing the schedules to ensure that any documents requiring a Director signature are identified early and addressed through the Request for Approval (section 127 form) process

    Collateral Development

    · Compile, develop, prepare, and format capability statements, project data sheets and presentation material for the inclusion in document library and reformat for tender submissions as required.

    · Design support for the Utilities business, creating webinars, content- PowerPoint presentations and assist with graphic design and presentations used internally and externally.

    Essential

    • Experience in a similar Proposals Coordination position desired.
    • Experience gained in the construction, utilities, renewable energy, rail or any other safety critical environment
    • Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power point)
    • Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
    • Experience in SharePoint would be an advantage
    • Experience in InDesign would be an advantage
    • Must be customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results driven
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
