    About the role:

    BMD are seeking a Project Manager with extensive Water and Wastewater proven experience. SA Water project experience favourable, specific to;

    • Potable Water Main - Highly Regarded
    • Gravity and Sewer Rising Main - Highly Regarded
    • Major Trunk Main Pipeline experience (pipe sizes 300mm - 900mm) - Highly Regarded
    • Large Wastewater Box Culvert/ RCP - Highly Regarded

    The basic objective of the Project Manager is to have knowledge of the day to day issues that affect the progress of works and make experienced decisions that will maximise the project's success in terms of profitability, efficiency, contract period and human relations.

    The project manager is responsible for managing and directing the team's outputs to ensure the project is delivered in a safe and successful manner.

    Skills and experience:

    • Project delivery experience working for reputable contractors.
    • Experience working on DIT projects highly regarded.
    • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering will be highly regarded.
    • Collaborative management style and team building skills.
    • Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills.
    • Experience in Pre-Contracts/ Estimating will be highly regarded.
