    The Technology division delivers the Group's information technology and banking operations functions to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation. Cyber Security protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.

    Your new team:

    The Cyber Protective Services Group, a part of the wider Cyber Security Technology function, provides security controls and services that are utilised across the group. This team is responsible for the delivery & support of effective security services and continuous assurance over enterprise security controls within the bank and across its group entities.

    We own and operate the Data Security services to protect the Group. The services protect over 10,000 servers across a range of different On-Prem, Private Cloud and Public Cloud environments, along with over 56,000 end-user devices.

    Your impact and contribution:

    As the Site Reliability Engineer – Data Security you will be responsible for the implementation, deployment and support of services such as Microsoft Security Suite of services, Tokenisation services and Cryptography. You will also participate in the implementation of complex changes and project delivery.

    This role will enable you to work with various services and solutions while working on productivity initiatives to the platform through automation.

    You will also:

    • Have a strong track record working with the AWS framework building AWS environments.
    • Bring proven experience with CI-CD toolset and applied demonstrated cloud experience.
    • Have a strong understanding and experience with Artifactory/GitHub Actions.
    • Be responsible in driving DevSecOps environments.
    • Drive automation and uplift application monitoring capability.
    • Measure and optimise system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continual improvement.
    • Be responsible in driving the deployment across Data Security services and solutions.
    • Offer advice across modern architecture and design working across various security domains.

    We are interested in people who:

    Can manage and have the ability solve key initiatives, services and projects across the Group's suite of services and solutions. As the Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will bring enterprise-level expertise working across a complex and large-scale environment with the main objective of managing Data Security solutions and services.

    You will bring:

    • Proficiency of Data Security concepts including Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Transparent Data Encryption, Tokenisation etc.
    • Experience of design/architecture is highly regarded.
    • Hands-on technical experience in multi-cloud environments (on premise/AWS/Azure) desirable but not essential.
    • Working knowledge of various scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python etc.
    • Industry Certifications are an advantage (i.e., CISSP, CCSP, AWS, Azure, DevOps,)
