- Degree in Social Work and eligible for membership of theAustralian Association of Social Workers, or degree, or postgraduate qualifications in Psychology or other related field.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in providing parentingsupport to vulnerable families that is child focused and familycentred including counselling, case management and parentingsupport.
- Demonstrated case management experience in the context of childand family services and facilitating case conferences.
- Demonstrated experience with in-depth child and familyassessments with the understanding of child development and theimpact of trauma on children including neglect.
- Holds a current NT Drivers Licence.

About the role
The position provides case management and community support toparents/cares based on parenting and life skills including casemanagement, assessments, and advocacy and parenting support. Theposition works in partnership with an Aboriginal Family SupportWorker in providing a range of intervention that aim to improveoutcomes for children that focus on parents/cares.
