The Opportunity
We seek a Workshop Co-Ordinator to oversee the repair and maintenance of the Council's plant, vehicles, machinery, and equipment to ensure that they are in a safe working condition.
You will manage the Council's repair and maintenance program including projecting vehicle maintenance schedules, diagnosing and resolving plant, vehicle, and machinery issues, scheduling daily maintenance and repairs and coordinating workshop budget, controlling stock/inventory and source and ordering parts, and actively participate in mechanical repairs and the maintenance of Council's fleet.
Your responsibilities will include keeping accurate daily work records and reporting any issues including major repairs or equipment replacement to the supervisor and maintaining and troubleshooting the specialist C‐Bus system for the road sweeper.
