    Are you?MYRRHA will be the world's first sub-critical, particle accelerator driven reactor, cooled by a lead-bismuth eutectic.
    Our main mission is to build MYRRHA and use it as a research reactor.

    But there's still a lot of work to be done, such as constructing MINERVA – the project's first phase that consists of a particle accelerator and a proton target facility.

    The commissioning of this accelerator facility is scheduled for 2026.

    • CEN wants to develop new medical radioisotopes and solve the nuclear waste issue.
    To help us achieve our ambitious goals, we are looking for a Beam Diagnostics Engineer.
    In this position, you will help: specify, design, validate, procure, integrate, commission and operate a wide range of beam diagnostic elements including beam interception devices and beam loss monitors cover all aspects ranging from identifying mechanical issues to the integration into the control system, with a strong emphasis on electronics aspects of these devices manage industrial suppliers and collaboration partners to deliver the components in time and budget ensure the beam diagnostic systems are in line with the requested exceptionally high reliability goals To join this frontier, you'll need Master's degree in physics, electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in analog and RF electronics, including: circuit design and techniques, signal integrity & conditioning, strong debugging skills, interfacing with digital electronics good knowledge of particle beam instrumentation or relevant field, including experience in data analysis for beam instrumentation comfortable with industry standards and regulations for project lifecycle management (write specifications, validation plans, quality assurance, etc.) previous experience in integration and commissioning of complex systems or instruments in the field of particle accelerators is a strong asset strong oral and written communication skills in English
