    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Education Employment and Transitional Services unit works towards assisting prisoners to acquire, develop, practice and apply the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need now and in the future to take responsible control of their own lives.

    The Prisoner Education Coordinator works as a team member to provide a comprehensive education and vocational training service to prisoners. They assist with educational responsibilities that relate to educational process, including curriculum, teaching, assessing, staff development and industry liaison.

  • A copy of your qualification(s): a Tertiary teaching qualification or equivalent, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (This can be completed within 6 months of employment)
