    Job Overview

    The Field Service Plant Mechanic will assist in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Caterpillar products under the guidance of the Field Service Supervisor.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Carry out repairs, maintenance, servicing, and manage work orders.
    • Perform product improvement plans and product support programs while maintaining and operating in a safe work environment.

    Roster and Location

    Working hours: 9 days on, 5 days off (10 hours each day plus 30 minutes break)

    Residential location: Geraldton

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you must have:

    • Australian recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post-trade experience (Field Service)
    • Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an isolated and remote environment
    • Ability to work and seek out work opportunities without continuous direct supervision
    • Work well within a team and have a strong commitment to continuous improvement principles
    • Strive to assist the Customer to achieve machine availability and reliability KPIs
    • Previous mechanical experience working on Caterpillar products
    • Light Rigid licence desired
