    Green Light is seeking a motivated Radiocommunications Technician based in Sydney, you will be part of the System Integration team and be responsible for designing and guiding the technical implementation of government and commercial communications system solutions, leveraging new technologies and approaches sourced from both inside and outside of enterprise Solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, maintain, and alter radio telecommunications systems and general equipment for deployments.
    • Facilitate fleet and after sales support from third party.
    • Plan, design, implement and maintain complex communications and information systems.
    • Coordinate training delivery, sustainment establishment and fleet management activities for IIS of program and project level capabilities.
    • Continual improvement in the RF design of services required to optimise utilisation of capacity across the in-orbit satellite fleet.
    • Proactively navigate the organisation, forge relationships, identify solutions, educate, and influence and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to meet objectives.


    Requirements:

    • Radio/Telecommunication background with relevant qualifications in the field.
    • Radio frequency fundamentals
    • Telecommunications equipment configuration, maintenance troubleshooting and repair
    • Defence technical regulatory awareness
    • Electronic and Satellite systems
    • Strong in problem solving, analytical ability, communication skills, and project management expertise.
    • Excellent communication skills in written and verbal forms is essential to ensuring they can effectively engage with all stakeholders, including those from non-technical backgrounds, where they will be required to describe complex technical issues, in crisp, concise, and accurate forms.
    • The fast paced and complex environment demands for a forward leaning, proactive and flexible outlook with the drive and strategic presence to drive projects through to completion.

    An active NV1 clearance at minimum, is essential – consultants who are not Australian Citizens and do not have an NV1 Clearance cannot be considered.
