    Description

    Our client offer town planning and property advisory services to various clients in both the private and public sectors. While our primary focus is on projects and clients in the Hunter and Central Coast Regions of NSW, we frequently engage in endeavors spanning metropolitan and regional areas throughout NSW.

    Our clientele is varied, encompassing small-scale developers, major residential, commercial, and industrial builders, registered clubs, retirement living providers, social and affordable housing organizations, quarry operators, as well as local and State government agencies. This diverse range of clients ensures that our projects present a wide spectrum of complexities.

    We routinely collaborate within multidisciplinary consulting teams to offer guidance throughout the entire lifecycle of a project or development, starting from its inception and due diligence stages, continuing through application preparation, and extending into the formal assessment phase. Our portfolio includes a diverse array of projects such as State Significant Development, Regional Development, Designated Development, Planning Proposals, Part 5 Assessments, and local development applications.

    THE ROLE/DUTIES

    • The role offers a chance for a qualified candidate to acquire diverse experience within a team setting. Responsibilities would involve:
    • Providing advice on due diligence and approval pathways.
    • Drafting Statement of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements, Planning Proposals, and Reviews of Environmental Factors.
    • Evaluating plans and technical reports supporting applications and proposals.
    • Collaborating with Councils, State Government Agencies, and other regulatory bodies.
    • Working closely with other technical consultants to ensure timely preparation of applications.
    • We are able to offer flexible working arrangements.

    ABOUT YOU

    Ideally, you will have obtained a tertiary degree or possess appropriate postgraduate qualifications in town planning, urban and regional planning, or environmental science. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficient written skills along with a solid understanding of the NSW Planning System. The capacity to collaborate effectively with clients and government stakeholders will be advantageous.
