    UON is currently seeking experienced and self-motivated Electrician Supervisor to join our Energy-Yard team at UON's Malaga Facility in the below conditions:

    Skills & Experience

    • A Grade Electrical License.
    • 3-5+ years' working in a supervisory capacity, preferably on Mine Sites.
    • Cert IV in Management/ Leadership Training Preferred
    • Ability to mentor and lead a team of Electricians
    • Current and valid driver's license
    • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical at all times.
    • HV switching.
    • Experience with submersible pump installations.
    • Cable splicing & joining
    • Experience in Power Generation / Diesel Generator fault finding and repair
    • Experience in renewable energy field.
    • Experience in the mining and resources industry - desirable.
    • Excellent HSE compliance and ability to work unsupervised

    Your main responsibilities will include:

    • Undertake planned and adhoc electrical assembly installation & commissioning of UON products as required.
    • Travel away from Home to site or stay at the Perth base Yard and WA mine sites as per work needs.
    • Installation and commissioning of UON products in workshop/ Yard and WA mine sites.
    • Compliance with WA Mines Safety and Inspections Act and Regulations and Duty of Care
    • Ensure employees receive adequate training and instruction to perform their work
    • Assist in work planning, scheduling and resource allocation with a focus on the weekly electrical maintenance plan
    • Accept statutory appointment as an Electrical Supervisor and ensure compliance with associated statutory responsibilities
    • Supervise and coordinate the electrical activities ensuring productive and quality work outputs
    • Read and understand electrical drawings and specifications
    • Testing and Fault finding of UON products.
    • Provide technical advice
    • Ensure electrical equipment is tested and tagged correctly in line with applicable legislation.
    • Adherence to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to HR, QA, HSE and other relevant systems.
    • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
    • Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
    • Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
    • Good knowledge of power generation system.
    • Good knowledge of various test equipment.
