Leading Recruiter of IT Talent with Balance Recruitment in Sydney

This Federal Government Agency is after talented Mulesoft Developers to join the Digital Transformation and Delivery Division, to deliver quality outcomes in the Mulesoft space.

As the team is geographically diverse, the role can be performed in ACT, NSW, QLD, or VIC, however 2-3 days attendance in the office will be expected.

• 12 month contract with up to 2 x12 mth extensions on offer
• Federal Government Agency - Sydney, ACT, Vic or QLD
• Australian Citizen with ability to obtain Baseline Clearance

The role will see you:

• applications to agreed standards and best practice, including test design, user, and system documentation;
• technical solutions with a focus on user needs;
• on any identified process improvements that will assist in a more responsive delivery outcome; and
• in a fast-paced environment, delivering value with colleagues, using Azure DevOps.

You will bring to the role:

• Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
• At least a few years of experience working as a Mulesoft Developer, along with proven experience with Mulesoft Anypoint Platform and development tools (Mule Studio, Anypoint Exchange)
• In depth knowledge of Azure DevOps services (Azure Pipeline, Repos, Board);
• Experience in CI/CD principles and automation scripting (YAML, Bash);
• Experience with Git version control and pull request workflows;
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills;
• Strong problem solving skills and a mindset for continuous improvement;
• Familiarity with API management and integration principles is a plus; and
• Previous experience working for Government Agencies, particularly those that support the health sector.
