    We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for full-time permanent Sales Support & Livestock Administration to join our Wagga Wagga branch to support our Livestock Sales team.

    About the opportunity:

    Reporting to the Branch Commercial Sales Support Manager, your responsibilities will include:

    • Processing Livestock sales; predominantly looking after private sales, other agent sales, clearing sales & saleyard sales.
    • Attending sale days when required both at the saleyards and on farm.
    • Provide professional and timely customer service to existing and prospective clients.
    • Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts relevant to all Livestock transactions.
    • Performing branch administrative tasks including accounts payable, expenses, banking, mail distribution and general office duties.
    • Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts including reconciliation and debt collection
    • This role includes a rotating Saturday roster (one Saturday in every three months).

    To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:

    • A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
    • Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
    • Knowledge or experience with cattle and /or sheep livestock is advantageous but not essential.
    • Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes
    • Excellent computer skills including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook & the ability to learn new systems quickly
    • Able to work efficiently and unassisted
