    Job Title: Practice Leader

    The Opportunity:

    As a seasoned consultant and business development strategist, you will shape the growth and direction of our consulting practice.

    This role is ideal for a leader with expertise in client relationship management, project oversight, and commercial focus.

    You will lead and inspire a talented biodiversity team to deliver outstanding project outcomes while driving initiatives that align with market trends and NGH's strategic goals.

    The position offers a unique blend of technical influence, commercial acumen, and the opportunity to engage directly with clients and industry leaders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Business Development and Growth:
    Drive client relationships as a trusted advisor, identifying and securing new business opportunities.

    Operational and Project Management:
    Provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations, while overseeing projects to ensure timely, within-budget completion.

    Leadership and Team Development:
    Mentor and coach team members, supporting their professional development and performance.

    Desired Skills and Experience

    What we are looking for:

    • Proven track record in client relationship management, business development, strategic planning, and project management.
    • Strong communication, networking, and financial management skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Environmental Science, Ecology).
    • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a consulting or ecology role, with a strong background in business development and project leadership.
    • Demonstrated experience in coaching teams and managing financial and strategic reporting is desirable.
