    Project Engineer (Pipeline and Umbilicals) The Company Ener Mech is one of the world's leading providers of fully integrated mechanical, electrical and instrumentation services to the global energy and infrastructure markets.

    The Role Ener Mech is currently seeking Applications for the position of a Project Engineer, the ideal candidate shall have extensive experience with umbilicals and have the ability including:

    Be able to write umbilical testing procedures including Hydraulic Pressure Testing , Electrical testing (CR, IR & TDR) & Fibre Optic Testing (OTDR).

    Be competent with all aspects of Testing including Hydraulic Pressure Testing , Electrical testing (CR, IR & TDR) & Fibre Optic Testing (OTDR).

    It would be beneficial if candidate has experience with Fibre Optic splicing including Mechanical Splicing & Fusion Splicing Have a good understanding of Umbilical specifications (AP 17 E , AS 4059 & IEC 60228)

    Complete understand of cleaning fluids to the spec required SAE 4059 EAdditionally, it would be beneficial for candidates to show experience in:

    Nitrogen purging operations via Nitrogen Generation Units (membrane technology) and Liquid Nitrogen Convertors Air spread operations, utilising high flow 24bar screw type Diesel Compressors, high flow Pneumatic Air Dryers and high pressure Booster Compressors Flange Management and in-situ machining experience Experience across various cleaning methods for piping and pipelines including but not limited to air blowing, flushing, pigging, chemical cleaning, water blasting.

    Hydrostatic and Pneumatic pressure testing of vessels, spools, hoses and fittings At times this role will be customer facing and work in small or large project teams delivering a wide range of projects both on and offshore.

    The candidate would be responsible for activities from pre-contracts technical support through to engineering and field delivery of projects.
