    Work with one of Australia's leading energy pioneers, Santos12 month casual assignment via Chandler Macleod Immediate start, working full-time, Brisbane CBD Location About Santos Santosis a global energy company committed to increasingly cleaner energy and fuels production, with operations across Australia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste and North America.

    About the Assignment The primary goal of Senior Surface Production Engineer is to maximise surface facilities capacity, optimise production and minimise production shortfall at the facilities and drive improvement opportunities (risk, cost, production and emissions).

    Key responsibilities of the Senior Surface Production Engineer include: Monitor daily facility production to identify actual or potential production shortfalls and submit recommendations for remedial work and/or investigatory testing Day to day well performance surveillance, shortfall identification, troubleshooting and categorisation Day to day facility optimisation and enhancement Ensure deviations and threats for facility operations are managed Ensure routine faults are diagnosed and actioned Ensure monitoring of process health, equipment performance, energy intensity and optimisation and any other unit specific surveillance required as per the surveillance management plan Reporting on weekly and monthly asset performance (facilities).

    Total Plant Outage (TPO) support Drive process optimisation to reduce fuel gas usage and flaring Understand and propose actions to reduce back pressure in gathering systems.

    Drive reduction of backout through the gathering system and facility chokes.

    New well operational readiness support Identify rate enhancement opportunities and economic projects to drive facility uptime improvement and emissions reduction Work closely with operations to provide field operational support Risk based prioritisation, risk management, change (MOC) scoping and completion Risk Assessments Trip Reduction Site visits to Roma, Narrabri, Arcadia This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.

    Location for this assignment is Brisbane CBD, working full-time office hours with adhoc travel requirements to other assets.
