    My Australia direct is accepting CVs on behalf of our client; MARS Recruitment - one of Australia's leading recruitment agencies. We are growing our team and are hiring for the position of Recruitment Consultant in Sydney. Multiple positions are available. We offer an exciting work environment and we work with some major businesses as clients across Australia. The position of Recruitment Consultant is full-time with annual remuneration of $80,000 to $110,000 on offer (negotiable depending on skills) plus superannuation.

    Responsibilities:


    • Taking job briefs from clients
    • Creating advertising material specific to the role
    • Liaising with candidates and clients
    • Short listing and interviewing candidates
    • Perform reference checks
    • Business development via client and candidate generation
    • Marketing to prospective clients
    • Maintaining strong relationships & rapport with existing clients
    • Responsible for the full recruitment process from hiring planning to sourcing to selection and day one readiness
    • Managing and updating of internal database
    • Developing and managing your own client portfolio and source the most suitable candidates
    • Providing candidate quality advice on jobs and careers
    • Providing recruitment and labour-hire solutions to clients
    • Negotiating successful outcomes for both candidates and clients

    Skills and Experience:


    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of two years' recruitment related experience
    • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with team members
    • Experience working in agency or large internal recruitment setting
    • Performance driven
    • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Understanding of human nature and ability to match the needs and wants of both clients' and candidates'
    • Solutions orientated approach
