    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The People, Culture and Standards Division is the custodian of the Department's integrity framework which provides an integrated governance approach to protect the Department's integrity, and prevent misconduct, corruption, fraud, and theft. It works in partnership with all entities within the Department and beyond to install a valued based culture.

    The Manager Integrity Programs is part of the Management Engagement and Intervention Directorate (MEI) which is responsible for the delivery of corruption prevention initiatives and promotes integrity and accountability at all levels across the workforce.

    The Manager Integrity Programs provides managerial oversight of the Department's staff drug and alcohol testing and employment screening programs. The position holder will provide strategies and advice to senior management on employment screening and drug mitigation, policies, practices, and procedures.

    This position leads people and programs and will ensure that:

  • The employment screening and drug testing teams continually perform at a high standard.
  • That key performance indicators are met.
  • That staff working within the portfolio areas are providing responsive, friendly and customer focused service delivery.
