Our client in Bayswater seeks to appoint a warehouse storeperson.

Warehouse Storeperson
The Company: Located in Bayswater VIC, this is a long established, friendly, family owned company that imports and distributes electrical cables & enclosures plus components to wholesalers and contractors. The ideal Warehouse Storeperson candidate will have several years of solid experience in the Warehousing field to enable you to work in all aspects of the warehouse without constant supervision. We are seeking a person whois a self-starter with a positive attitude and friendly demeanour; please note that you will initially be working autonomously.

Warehouse Storeperson Overview:

• Pick and pack orders
• Loading and unloading trucks/couriers; a Forklift Licence is required
• Inwards Goods and checking off goods
• Restocking shelves
• Arranging Couriers
• Complete order and delivery dockets, and administer
• A small amount of Trade Counter / Customer pick-up interaction (neat and tidy personal presentation is required)
• Adhering to safe Warehouse Systems, Policies and Procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly Warehouse without trip and other hazards
• Other duties as required by Management from time to time
• Competent in following all safe work instructions
• Competent forklift driver

The Person:

• Preferably possess formal training in Warehouse and/or Logistics
• Forklift Licence
• Ability to communicate with customers and staff in a professional manner
• Physically fit for manual handling of stock
• Neat and tidy personal presentation
• Reliability with a good work ethic
• Self motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to follow safe work instructions

Hours / Salary:

• Monday to Friday (There is No weekend work)
• Hours: 7.00am to 5.00pm (Flexible)
• Wage: Up to $29/hr + Super (Neg. depending on skills and experience)
