- Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the Deputy Secretary and other senior staff as required, including diary management; managing internal and external emails, correspondence and briefing material; travel and event arrangements; and other administrative services to optimise timely and efficient outcomes.
- Manage the detailed planning, organising and coordination of administrative requirements related to the Deputy Secretary's office, including the initiation and timely preparation of documents of a highly confidential nature, monitoring the preparation of correspondence and referral of matters for comment or further action to the appropriate Division, Branch or Officer.
- Monitor the flow of documents into and out of the Office. Monitor the quality of documentation and communications.
- Serve as the first point of contact for the Deputy Secretary's office and undertake liaison with other Divisions, Departments, private organisations, senior Departmental staff.
- Manage small projects, undertake research and prepare adhoc reports as required.
