    Position Overview

    Our Sales Representatives provide specialist support and machinery recommendations based on customer needs and individual operations. They work with current industry trends, predict sales requirements and continually expand their knowledge of the John Deere products and the agricultural industry within the Gunnedah region.

    Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

    • Represent the company by selling a broad range of agricultural equipment including Tractors, Sprayers, Harvesters, Seeders and Mowers
    • Maintaining knowledge of financing options to assist with the purchase of goods
    • Attending sales training days and keeping up to date on John Deere product knowledge
    • Maintaining and developing new and existing customer relationships
    • Provide exceptional and timely customer service that consistently exceeds our customers' expectations through outstanding communication skills, problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.

    The Ideal Candidate should have:

    • Previous experience in sales
    • Knowledge of farming and operations practices preferred
    • A high level of initiative, organisation and time management skills.
    • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office
    • High-quality selling and follow-up skills with a strong customer focus
    • Excellent customer relations skills
    • A current and valid manual driver's license
    • Can follow safe work environment procedures and operations
