There is a need for an Estimator to join the team at this busy civil construction company based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

This position has become available due to the need to expand the team estimating team and broaden the collective knowledge.

You can be fully trained in the current software being used if required, You will be working on a variety of projects, including concrete supply and place packages, commercial high rise and civil infrastructure.

Salary bracket is between $70k - $130k + super - based on experience.

Role and responsibilities

• Negotiating and preparing quotes & tender estimates
• Reviewing scope of works, tender and contract documents to identify cost-effectiveness and risks.
• Preparation of construction methodologies and programs.
• Liaise with clients, request for scope of works and review with the clients if required.
• Obtain quotes and pricing from suppliers and sub-contractors.

Your skills and experience

• Prior experience as a Estimator, ideally with 2+ years experience.
• Experience with civil concreting, and infrastructure projects would be ideal.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Team player and passionate about your work.
• Experience in using Cubit & Buildsoft would be ideal, however, full training can be provided.
