    As a Business Intelligence Analyst and Data Modeler, you will play a key role in defining and developing detailed requirements, designing multi-dimensional data models, and maintaining BI solutions. You will collaborate closely with business users and stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights and drive informed decision-making.

    Role Purpose:

    The primary purpose of this role is to:

    • Work collaboratively with business users to define and develop detailed requirements.
    • Design and maintain BI solutions with a focus on data modeling, transformation, migration, and profiling.
    • Adapt to new technologies, processes, and changing business requirements.
    • Communicate complex information in an easily digestible format tailored to the audience.
    • Set priorities, meet deadlines, and create various documents including data models, technical specifications, use cases, and business processes.
    • Utilize advanced knowledge of MS Office, MS SQL Server, and Data Warehouse architecture.
    • Work independently and as a senior member of a team, demonstrating initiative and productivity.
    • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills derived from a business analyst background.
    • Utilize Azure Data Lake experience.

    Key Criteria:

    • Substantial relevant experience in defining and developing detailed requirements and translating them into multi-dimensional data models.
    • Experience in designing and maintaining BI solutions, particularly in large and complex environments.
    • Demonstrated aptitude for adapting to new technologies and changing business requirements.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
    • Exceptional planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, MS SQL Server, and Data Warehouse architecture.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and productivity.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a background in business analysis.
    • 3 years of Azure Data Lake experience.

    Desirable Skills:

    • Working knowledge of the Higher Education sector.
    • Experience modeling financial data.
