    Responsibilities

    Senior Manager - Marketing Neuroscience (portfolio of rare disease cannabidiols indications) is a core role within the ANZ commercial team, reporting to the Business Unit Director. This role will work in collaboration with the commercial and medical teams for Neuroscience indications in both the adult and paediatric setting, as part of the Neuroscience team. The incumbent will operate in a highly collaborative manner with cross functional regional colleagues and affiliate team members to ensure organization knowledge, experience and capability is harnessed to deliver optimal marketing project outcomes.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of tactics and projects spanning brand communications, congress, and peer-peer events to support broad and earlier adoption of our neuroscience indicatons. Additional responsibility within the role will be driving and developing an integrated digital content approach for promotion and education which reflects the range of communication preferences of our customer base.

    Essential Functions
    • Provide regional brand expertise by maintaining in-depth knowledge of the therapy area and brand; the incumbent will be considered an internal expert on our neuroscience indications including Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathies
    • Identify, assess, and effectively champion lifecycle opportunities.
    • Lead the annual tactical planning process and execute on plan in line with agreed brand strategy to drive brand adoption.
    • Review, assess and determine suitable ANZ congresses and educational events the company should be represented at.
    • Organize booth and materials appropriately to manage customer facing interactions.
    • Lead the market localization process ensuring all materials & briefing documents are fully Veeva approved prior to roll-out. Oversee the materials management, reproduction & distribution of campaign materials. (Market materials required for Australia and new launch in New Zealand)
    • Develop strategically aligned local materials for affiliate to supplement the campaign produced by the international team which are compliant and legally approved.
    • Work closely with medical and marketers across therapy areas to share and identify best practice in impactful communications to raise awareness and the profile of our rare disease indications.
    • Champion multichannel communication thinking within Neuroscience team and engage with peers in oncology TA to collectively share best practice.
    • Close working with digital strategy team to ensure optimal utilization of Jazz's evolving digital ecosystem to increase our level and quality of digital customer engagement.
    • Inspire, brief, and manage creative and communication agencies to deliver on time, quality and within budget expectations.
    • Demonstrate Jazz values and embraces ownership & accountability for projects.
    • Routinely collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of brand plans to time and budget commitments.
    • Create a positive brand experience for customers through activities delivered, leading to positive change in customer brand perception and behavior over time.
    • Be an exceptional collaborator with country/regional marketing/brand managers to build relationships, trust, and two-way communication to ensure optimal support for affiliate brand execution.
    • Actively seeks, incorporates, and shares customer feedback and market insights with marketing peers and broader cross functional team to enable improved customer and patient focus. This will also require time spent in field to ensure insights gathered represent market thought leadership.
    • Consistently demonstrate a positive, collaborative attitude that exemplifies ownership of business, teamwork with peers, and is respectful of supervisors, peers, and customers alike.
    • Represent the affiliate as part of Integrated Brand Planning team for Neuroscience.
    • Analyze & integrate multiple pieces of information and data to inform tactical decision making and efficient project execution.
    • Measure success against desired outcomes / results and track performance for effectiveness of their delivered tactics and work with team to share learnings gained and implications.
    • Build collaborative relationships with external societies, HCPs, KOLs where necessary.
    • At all times act within the intent of internal and external codes of conduct and compliance frameworks within which we operate

    Qualifications & Education:
    • Bachelor's degree required as a minimum, ideally in life/medical sciences or business.
    • Significant marketing experience in the pharma/biotech industry
    • Fluent Spoken & Written English


    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Deep experience within the epilepsy marketplace highly preferable.
    • Experience within both above country and in country pharma working environments advantageous.
    • Proven background in neurology or other highly specialized therapy area, ideally in an Orphan / Rare Disease context
    • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and inspiring marketer with ability to laterally lead cross functional colleagues on a project basis.
    • Rich expertise in pharmaceutical marketing with track record of both strategic and operational experience leading to positive market impact.
    • Experience in pharmaceutical launches
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations to diverse groups with the ability to 'make the complex' simple for the audience.
    • Strong project management abilities to enable success in driving multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proven ability to partner successfully with cross-functional and affiliate teams to ensure delivery against a common goal.
    • Ability to develop strong relationships with diverse individuals /groups both internally & externally.
    • Ability to champion the needs of the patient & their carers/families whilst developing & executing plans and holding peers to account to do the same.
    • The ability to innovate, gain broad consensus across functional silos and drive projects to completion.
    • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills to identify, understand and propose plans to address business issues and opportunities in the short and midterm.
    • Ability to set goals, prioritize activities, and establish/meet challenging timelines to support rapid patient access to medicines and business delivery.
    • Works well and delivers under pressure.
