The Parklife Metro Consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.

This city shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership, will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney.

WeBuild as a D&C Contractor member, will be responsible for the successful delivery of the design and construction elements of the project, and we are currently looking to appoint a BIM Coordinator.

Position Summary

The BIM Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of BIM processes, standards, workflows and assist the BIM Manager across SSTOM project.

Here are some of the key job responsibilities:

Collaborate with project teams: The BIM Coordinator works closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that BIM processes are aligned with project requirements and objectives.
Assist in BIM workflows: The BIM Coordinator help to implement and maintains BIM workflows that ensure efficient data exchange, project collaboration, and quality control.
Manage Design coordination platforms: The BIM Coordinator is responsible for managing design coordination platform (Revizto) and ensuring that all team members have access to the necessary tools and resources.
Conduct training: The BIM Coordinator provides training and support to project team members on BIM processes, standards, and workflows.
Quality control: The BIM Coordinator performs regular quality control checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards. Plus, the BIM Coordinator will be responsible to review official submissions.
Clash detection: The BIM Coordinator attend to clash management and resolution meetings that arise during the BIM process and works with team members to resolve any problems.
Support Quantity take-off process.
Undertake BIM specific modelling task if required.
