    We are looking for talented Project Engineers to join our team based in Glen Iris, Vic.

    We have a number of positions available, that would suit recent graduates to engineers with 5-10 years of relevant experience.

    From concept designs for a new process or facility through the execution and delivery phases, to commissioning, validation and start-up, the successful applicants will play a key role within the Project Engineering team and will have "hands on" involvement across a wide range of projects.


    A typical day in this role could involve:
    Scoping of project requirements
    Collaborating with stakeholders.
    You will deal with all levels in our client's business from owners to operational staff.
    You will also closely work with equipment suppliers, architects and other service providers.
    Design of facility layout, considering workflow optimisation, equipment placement and personnel safety.
    Selection and specification of food-grade equipment and materials.
    Management or input to project budgets, including cost estimation, procurement and cost tracking through the project life cycle.
    Co-ordination of construction and installation activities, including site preparation, building construction, equipment installation and utility connections.

    Ensuring designs comply with food safety regulations, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and any other regulatory requirements.

    Provision of technical support and training to operations personnel on new equipment and processes.
    Documentation of project progress, issues and resolutions, and preparation of final documentation and reports.

    We are looking for qualified engineers with:
    An engineering degree in a mechanical or chemical discipline
    Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
    High levels of attention to detail whilst working on multiple fast-paced projects
    Proven ability to work unsupervised, whilst contributing as a key member within a dynamic team environment.

    Our ideal candidate will already have current or prior experience in the food or beverage manufacturing, FMCG or pharmaceutical industries.

    This can include undergraduate work experience, vacation work or internships.
    Experience in the following areas would also be highly beneficial:
    capital projects
    working drawings and P&ID's
    understanding and ability to apply knowledge of piping and instrumentation, valve, vessel and pump sizing
    Working knowledge of automation.
