    Position Overview: Our client is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their community under the guidance of the Service Manager. The Assistant Service Manager will provide managerial support, oversee staff management, maintain quality assurance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    As a Service Manager Support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our community under the guidance of the Service Manager. Your responsibilities encompass providing managerial support, overseeing staff management, maintaining quality assurance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Administrative and Staff Management:

    • Collaborate with Central Support Management to meet operational and administrative requirements.
    • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure the delivery of quality services.
    • Coordinate tours for potential residents in consultation with our care solutions team.
    • Ensure completion of administrative tasks for new resident admissions.
    • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff in alignment with organisational standards.
    • Supervise housekeeping and hospitality operations to optimize performance.
    • Foster teamwork, communication, and effective leadership among staff and stakeholders.

    Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:

    • Conduct audits related to OH&S hotel services and implement corrective actions.
    • Manage monthly meeting processes and actively participate in relevant meetings.
    • Ensure compliance with infection control guidelines and practices.
    • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new team members.
    • Coordinate training requirements in collaboration with the Education Manager.
    • Maintain personal and professional development within the aged care industry.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Business management qualification (preferred).
    • Occupational health and safety qualifications.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing hotel services or similar functions (desirable).
    • Understanding and compliance with Aged Care Quality standards (desirable).
    • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
    • Minimum one year's administrative experience in a senior position
