    The Vice President, Professional Service Delivery ASPAC will lead the implementation of projects for OpenText software solutions in the Asia Pacific Region

    Reporting to SVP of Professional Services and serving as an integral member of the senior leadership team, this vice president will manage the projects in the Asia Pacific Region, develop the project management policies, manage customer escalations, integrate into the sales bid process/review, and perform revenue and margin forecasting. The position will be front facing with the customers for projects being implemented with OpenText resources.

    The Vice President, Professional Services Delivery will be a hands-on senior leader who can provide counsel to the SVP of Professional Services, manage multiple projects and customers, lead program managers and, and develop compelling thought leadership and implement new methods of making OpenText world class in Professional Services.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the delivery or revenue and margin target in Asia Pacific
  • Provide strategic vision and implementation of that vision for the project management of professional services project in Asia Pacific Region
  • Manage a team of Project Managers working on working on customers projects.
  • Primary connection for practice leadership on staffing and delivering projects in the region.
  • Manage customer escalations on projects.
  • Forecast and take responsibility for revenue generation.
  • Manage external consultants for Project management.
  • Ensure bid review and cost estimates for program.
  • DESIRED OUTCOMES

  • Ownership of the project management practice, revenue generated, and bid/scoping process.
  • Implement a global thought leadership on improving practices and functions of ps delivery functions.
  • Drive margin and efficiency change in the business, but standardizing delivery and practices
  • Drive a expanded level of communication with OpenText customers through the project process.
  • Improve awareness of trouble programs and proactively manage the risk and communication.
  • This leader is a project management leader with the leadership, gravitas, and presence to work with customer escalated contacts VP – C level communication.

    Preferred Locations are Singapore or Australia.

    IDEAL EXPERIENCE

    Experience with and passion for delivering complex software professional services.

  • PMP certification
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully plan, implement, and deliver software solutions to fortune 500 companies
  • Managing complex requirements and customers
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with distributed teams:

  • Organizing resources from both the Project management and the technical resources from technical practices inside of OpenText
  • Experience managing complex project and teams:

  • 10+ years of managing global and remote teams for professional services on enterprise software solutions.
  • Ability to identify, retain and grow talent required for successful website development & maintenance.
  • Requirements negotiation skills
