    Job Description:

    About the Role

    You will become a part of our dynamic team, with the opportunity to develop your clinical skills through treating a diverse range of patients in challenging and rewarding settings. You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and record interventions and patient care.

    • Provide physical and psychological care & support
    • Contribute to assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the patient within a safe and therapeutic environment to promote prompt recovery
    • Assess the medical, physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of patients to ensure high quality care
    • Actively encourage patients and their significant others to participate in management planning and or care programs
    • Monitor and review the provision of care using research outcomes, continuous quality improvement activities and systems appraisals

    Classifications for this position will range from Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2 NP21 – NP70 ($69,253 - $92,601 per annum pro rata)

    Your Contribution

    • Completed Bachelor of Nursing Degree
    • Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
    • Current experience in the delivery of Aged Care Mental Health Nursing is essential
    • Experience in conflict management / negotiation
    • Motivated, professional & exhibiting exceptional communication and time management skills.
    • Current National Criminal History check, or willing to obtain
