    The Inventory Officer is accountable to the Inventory Management Lead to support development and proactive management of the inventory and logistics requirements across the vessels lifecycle – underpinning the availability of the ships to Navy.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Support material management planning and scheduling, including analysis and the optimisation of inventory holdings and locations.
  • Meet customer requirements including stock level maintenance and fleet management.
  • Maintain Raytheon Australia's export control compliance across all Material Support functions.
  • Being comfortable with technology and systems, you will work to maintain data integrity of the inventory management systems and logistics databases in support of Program requirements.
  • Working with the SPO Sourcing Team to ensure the efficient procurement and repair of inventory to maintain the established stock levels.
  • Support to audit and quality assurance controls across the supply chain function to ensure compliance to policy.
  • Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Requires a Certificate IV in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Distribution (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with inventory management operations. Experience within a Defence environment preferred.
  • Computer literacy including the use of inventory management systems, eg SAP, Maximo, EAGLE or MILIS, Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
