About you

We are now seeking an experienced full-time civil engineering drafter to join us.

Your job description

• Co-ordinate and support multi-disciplinary 3D designs, specifically including water and wastewater mains.
• Develop concept and detailed civil drafting in accordance with statutory requirements and the associated technical documentation.
• Prepare design documentation for drainage, sewer & water reticulation as well as associated infrastructure.
• Identify risks and opportunities for the design and planning of utilities (water, telecommunication, gas and power) protection and relocation.
• Use 2D and 3D computer aided design applications and analyse data for civil projects.
• Work closely with other designers and engineers in multi-discipline teams ensure accuracy and meet deadlines.
• Ensure documentation is in line with associated disciplines such as planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate the maintenance work.
• Collect information from specific analysis reports.
• Estimate project costs and ensure construction stays within budget.
• Self check design drawings, models and calculations using standards, codes and internal procedures.
• Responsible to maintain the detailed documentation for the civil projects.

Experience & Skills

1. High competency with Auto Cad and all Microsoft Office suites.

2. Previous experience in a similar role within the construction environment.
