- To act in the role of Room Leader in the Early Childhood Teacher's absence.
- To work as an effective team member and in a collaborative manner with all staff.
- To engage in critical reflection.
- To adhere to the Preschool's philosophy which is founded on and shaped by Christian beliefs.
- To contribute to and participate in quality improvement and the assessment and ratings process.
- An in-depth knowledge of the updated Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.
- A sound knowledge of early childhood development.
- A passion for working with children.
- The ability to communicate and build partnerships with families.
- Commitment to the inclusion and support of children with diverse learning needs.
- The ability to be an active member of an experienced and professional team.
- The ability to deliver Bible story time as required.
- Diploma of Children's Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or ACECQA equivalent.
- A current Working With Children Check.
- A current First Aid qualification.
- Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Child Protection certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
