With a clientele encompassing over 20 publicly listed companies, they adeptly navigate accounting standards and regulatory frameworks such as ASIC, ACNC, and ASX reporting requirements, ensuring unwavering commitment to quality in every engagement.

The role:

Assist in the leading and management of audit engagements from planning to completion, including risk assessment, audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.

Conduct thorough and efficient audit procedures in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Review and evaluate clients' internal controls, financial statements, and accounting systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, collaboration, and superior client service.
Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to foster their professional development and growth.
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues affecting clients and the audit profession.

About you:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
CPA/CA certification or working towards is highly regarded.
Minimum of 2-3+ years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm.
Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting requirements.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proven leadership abilities with experience in leading audit teams and managing client relationships.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels.
