Senior Estimator - Fairfield, Australia - Prosper Recruitment

Description

We're in need of an experienced Senior Estimator to work on a mix of Commercial and Residential projects.

The day to day:

• Review and assess cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed estimates and purchase orders for all project items.
• Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members about project updates.
• Ensure timely completion of estimates.
• Understand project scopes.
• Manage supplier pricing and maintain a detailed database.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with management and architects to determine project specifications.

To be successful, you'll need:

• Relevant qualifications in construction and building.
• Prior experience as an Estimator on both commercial and residential projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
• Australian working rights.
