    About the role
    The CNE is responsible for the ongoing support and development of our Nursing staff in our General Surgical/Medical Ward 5D. This is an outstanding opportunity to grow your career and be part of a newly established team at Northern Beaches Hospital.

    You will bring to our high-performing surgical team:

    • Current registration as a Nurse with AHPRA s

    • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent

    • Certificate IV workplace training and Assessment (TAFE) (or working towards)

    • Relevant clinical or education post graduate qualifications in area of clinical practice (or equivalent) post-graduate certificate or higher

    • Minimum of 5 years clinical practice in a hospital Surgical Ward

    • Advanced clinical competence and proven experience in clinical supervision

    • Effective presentation skills and information technology literacy

    • Able to influence nursing and hospital practice to achieve excellent clinical outcomes

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    • Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care

    If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement with a salary range of $ / hour.
