    How will I help?

    As part of the Portfolio Management Team, your razor-sharp credit analysis skills and strong industry insights will be put to use for both large private, and smaller public, companies. Working with Relationship Managers, you'll meet with company executives and professional investors, and provide high-quality written credit submissions and input into loan structuring.

    Most importantly, you'll get to:

    • Work collaboratively with analysts, product experts, relationship managers & credit managers to initiate and structure a range of banking transactions
    • Enjoy a unique blend of analytical and entrepreneurial challenges
    • Look into risk profiling, financial analysis and related credit submission activities to support upcoming deals
    • Monitor and manage risk across customer portfolios
    • Play a critical role in protecting Westpac Groups assets by applying sound credit management practices

    What do I need?

    We'd expect you to have a good track record of banking experience with solid credit analysis and commercial acumen, allowing you to confidently navigate the complexities of credit risk. You'll usually work in a team, but you'll also need to regularly fly solo. That said, you'll stand an even better chance of getting this role if you have:

    • A relevant tertiary qualification
    • Cash flow modelling skills would be beneficial
    • Prior experience in a Professional Commercial Working Environment including Accounting, Insolvency, Legal, Consulting, Banking or Engineering
