About the role

Join our caring and dedicated team at Chestnut Gardens Nursing Home, part of the Monash Health Aged Care network. We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Enrolled Nurses to join our supportive team in providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.

At Chestnut Gardens, no two days are the same. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team within a warm and collaborative environment, where professional growth and continuous learning are encouraged. We're passionate about creating a workplace that values compassion, teamwork, innovation, and excellence in aged care.

We currently have both Full Time and Part Time ongoing opportunities available working a set shift roster. You will have the ability to view the current vacant shifts and select shifts that enable you to have a healthy work life balance.

About Us

Located in Doveton, Chestnut Gardens is home to 100 high-care residents, including 60 high-complex care beds and 40 psychogeriatric beds across two thoughtfully designed wings - The Boulevard and The Avenue.

Our facility embraces the latest in care and design philosophies and is fully staffed by a skilled nursing team, including Associate Nurse Unit Managers, Nursing Coordinators, Enrolled Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Graduate Nurses.

About You

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will:

Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care within your Enrolled Nurse scope of practice.
Collaborate with Registered Nurses, multidisciplinary teams, residents, and families in the development and implementation of care plans.
Demonstrate clinical competence and professional accountability in all aspects of nursing care.
Monitor residents for changes in health status and promptly escalate concerns to the Registered Nurse.
Contribute to promoting a culture of safety, respect, optimism, and continuous learning.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and legal standards.
Advocate for residents' dignity, wellbeing, and independence at all times.
Be familiar with the upcoming Aged Care Act reforms and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, ensuring your practice aligns with current and emerging requirements.

About You

You are a motivated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse who takes pride in delivering person-centred care. You value teamwork, uphold professional standards, and are passionate about improving the quality of life for older adults.

Requirements

Current AHPRA Enrolled Nurse registration (essential).
NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential).
Experience in aged care or mental health nursing (essential)
Completion of all pre-employment checks as per Monash Health policy.
