    About the Role

    The Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) Senior Analyst plays a pivotal role within the Financial Crime Operations Team, contributing to BOQ Groups efforts to mitigate financial risks, uphold regulatory compliance, and safeguard the integrity of our financial services.

    This role is primarily focused on conducting comprehensive reviews of customers requiring Enhanced Customer Due Diligence, ensuring adherence to regulatory and BOQ Group requirements.

    Additionally, this position entails the added duty of serving as the initial contact for ECDD Analyst escalations and inquiries, providing training and coaching support, and assisting with Team Leader (TL) activities as needed.

    The main duty involves assisting ECDD Analysts in performing thorough and timely reviews of customers requiring ECDD. Additionally, you will conduct reviews on customers directly and provide support to the Team Leader in achieving set targets and objectives. This entails:

    About you

    The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years in a similar role. Previous experience in AML/CTF roles with a track record of ensuring regulatory compliance, mentoring and coaching teams will be highly regarded to complement the leadership aspects of this role.

    It will be important to have a strong, analytical mindset with attention to detail and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will demonstrate exceptional customer service with a strong client-centric approach.
