    What you'll do

    As a Product Manager for Woolworths MarketPlus, you play a pivotal role in the success of our organisation by defining and executing product strategies that align with our business objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams to drive the development, launch, and continuous enhancement of our marketplace platform. This role requires a strong focus on understanding customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape to ensure our platform meets and exceeds user expectations. Your ability to collaborate with engineering, experience, and architecture teams is crucial for the seamless integration and delivery of product features. Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a customer-centric approach are essential in fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

    • Product Strategy and Execution: Define and drive the product vision and strategy for our group marketplace platform, ensuring it delivers value to our customers and supports business growth. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to bring these strategies to life.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and empower cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture. Ensure alignment across product, engineering, and design teams to deliver exceptional product outcomes.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for product-related discussions within the company. Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to ensure product decisions are aligned with business goals and customer needs.
    • Market and Customer Insight: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends. Use insights to inform product strategy and feature prioritisation.

    You will be instrumental in shaping the product roadmap, defining key product metrics, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality features that enhance user experience and business value.     What you'll bring

    • Extensive experience in product management, ideally within a marketplace or SAAS environment.
    • Strong Stakeholder Management skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex organisational structures and build strong relationships.
    • Strong Collaboration and Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams, with the ability to inspire and align teams towards a common goal.
    • Demonstrated success in launching and managing digital products or platforms, with a strong portfolio of projects that have driven business growth and improved customer experience.
    • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate these into product requirements.
