    Job Description

    We are looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Darwin on a full-time or part-time basis Applicants based anywhere in the NT or looking to relocate to the NT are encouraged to apply.

    As a Rehabilitation Consultant at WorkFocus Australia, you will play a vital role in the provision of workplace rehabilitation services to help build better lives through work and health. This opportunity is available for experienced Rehab Consultants or Graduate level entry. You will be supported through a thorough induction program and receive ongoing mentoring to equip you with the skills to thrive

    As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:

    • Undertaking initial assessments, worksite assessments, functional assessments, ergonomic assessments and home assessments
    • Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers and strategies to overcome these
    • Designing, implementing and reviewing programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce, or to activities of daily living
    • Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
    • Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes

    Qualifications

    What you'll bring to the role

    • Qualifications and registration in:
      • Occupational Therapy
    • Current registration or the ability to obtain registration with AHPRA
    • Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is needed)
    • Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
