    Clinical Nurse Consultant Role Overview

    We are seeking an experienced registered nurse to lead clinical management and ongoing coordination of nursing staff activities in the allergy and immunology setting at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

    About the Role

    This is an exciting opportunity for a highly self-motivated Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team, leading clinical management and ongoing coordination of nursing staff activities to achieve continuity of quality patient care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead clinical management and ongoing coordination of nursing staff activities in the allergy and immunology setting.
    • Apply principles of risk management, quality improvement, and research in the allergy and immunology setting.
    • Provide clinical leadership and identify, plan, and deliver clinical education to health professionals and consumers.
    • Develop policies, protocols, and procedures in line with National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and organisational needs.

    About the Team

    The Immunology and Allergy Unit is a multidisciplinary team consisting of clinicians, nurses, scientists, pharmacists, and technicians. The unit is dedicated to developing its operations to combat one of the fastest growing chronic diseases in Australia - Allergy.

    What We Offer

    • A competitive salary range of $111,506 - $118,336 per annum.
    • 11.5% employer superannuation contribution on top of the annual salary.

    Requirements

    • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
