Senior Software Web Developer

We are seeking a Senior Software Web Developer to join our Maritime Innovation team based at Tonsley, SA.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the focus on web development software engineering across all streams of allocated projects within the innovation portfolio.

About the Role

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies to meet business and user requirements.
• Lead technical decision-making and code reviews, ensuring best practices, maintainability, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering technical growth and knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Ensure application security, performance, and reliability, implementing DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based solutions where applicable.

About You

• Degree Qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science or other appropriate technology qualifications.
• Experienced in design, development and/or sustainment of software products using relevant Software Engineering technologies.
• Extensive exposure and skills in RESTful API design and integration.
• Sound skills with microservices architecture & containerisation, namely Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience in best practice UI/UX and human centric software.
• Sound communication skills, including the ability to speak to various levels of stakeholders.
