Description

Our Federal Government client has multiple requirements for Senior Project Managers to deliver inflight and upcoming projects. Opportunities exist and are emerging within the department's corporate applications, infrastructure platforms (including cloud hosting, migration, cyber security, data & analytics), software development, and more.

Security Clearance: Baseline required

Location: ACT (Hybrid option available)

Contract Length: 12 months + 2x 12 month extensions

Close Date: Wednesday 24th April 2024 – 9am

The successful candidates will:

• Manage the delivery of departmental project(s) following the department's project management methodologies (such as Prince2, Agile, SAFe, hybrid).

• Provide guidance and leadership to a multi-disciplinary project team, 3rd party vendors, and/or other departmental teams to deliver projects.

• Undertake project governance, including, but not limited to: project initiation and closure, scope, schedule and delivery timeframe management, reporting and presenting to Senior Executives, Program/Project Boards,and other governance bodies, budget and financial management and reporting, and active management of risks and issues.

• Provide delivery capability across the broader programs of work as directed by the department and/or the Project Management Office.
