    South Coast Radiology (SCR) part of the Integral Diagnostics group is the largest radiology group on the Gold Coast, and one of the longstanding radiology organisations in South East Queensland. Our 17 convenient imaging locations across the Tweed and Gold Coast also include two hospital based sites at John Flynn and Pindara Private Hospitals as well as practices in Mackay and Toowoomba.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    As the voice of the organisation, and often the first point of contact for many patients and referrers, this very busy and challenging role will see you scheduling and managing patient appointments and facilitating the pre-admission assessment process across all modalities including CT, Xray, Ultrasound, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine (Including PET) for all sites.

    Offering Part-time and Full-time opportunities. 7.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

    • Answering telephone calls in a courteous, professional, and sensitive manner.
    • Scheduling appointments for our patients using our state-of-the-art RIS system - Karisma
    • Managing appointments to maximise clinic efficiencies
    • Quoting relevant fees and Medicare rebates to patients
    • Informing our patients of preparation requirements prior to their visit


    TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

    • Experience in a customer focused role highly desirable
    • Detailed understanding of medical imaging terminology or willingness to learn
    • Demonstrated computer software and keyboard skills essential
    • Excellence in customer service delivery in order to exceed patient and referrer expectations
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to show patients care, compassion, and empathy
    • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively optimise allocated appointment slots
    • Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to meet KPI's
    • A "can do" attitude that builds rapport with patients, staff, and professionals easily
