    About the role
    As the Quality Assurance Technician, you will join the Quality Team at our manufacturing facility in West Footscray. Reporting directly into the Quality Team Leader, you will work within a team that covers analytical, microbiological and operational quality. Key to your role will be:

  • Evaluating and determining the suitability of product to be released whilst providing exceptional service and ensuring that all external/internal customer requirements are met.
  • In addition, you will provide technical support and advise to various teams including manufacturing and refinery; manage quality control production records
  • Investigate non-conforming product and maintain analytical and microbiological equipment.
  • This role would be open to recent graduates.
  • About your experience
    You will be a talented and passionate quality technician with sound quality experience from within either food manufacturing, science, petrochemical or pharmaceutical industries. Your ability to work within a complex site and various production lines combined with your natural capacity to think on your feet and act with integrity will be your key strength. In addition, you will have a:


    • Degree in Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or related - with a focus in Microbiology

    • Experience with quality systems

    • Support the team in driving innovation and continuous improvement to increase laboratory efficiency and strive for operational excellence

    • Ability to work under fluid and dynamic conditions with tight deadlines and minimal supervision
